Encounters with Jesus

Encounters with Jesus

Mark’s Gospel is full of moments of encounter between Jesus and the people around him. During late May, June and July in our Sunday services we will be looking at some of these encounters and thinking around their relevance for us today.

From the calling of the first disciples in Mark 1, the calming of the storm in Mark 4 and the various healings that fill the pages of these first few chapters, we hope to revisit these moments of encounter with fresh eyes and rediscover the Jesus of the New Testament.

We will also be hearing from members of the church as they tell part of their own stories of encounter with Jesus today and the difference that he makes to them.  As we head into the summer, lets be re-energised about who Jesus was and is. Sunday services at Holy Trinity take place at 11.00am and 6.30pm.
